President
Les Oldham, President,
founded Tel-IS, as it is known today, in 1985 as a
business unit of Innovative Computing Corporation, which
later became a subsidiary of Westinghouse. The roots of
the Tel-IS mission can be found in Les Oldham's prior
thirteen year career in the management of a nationwide
trucking company. As Executive Vice President, improving
business processes in an effort to improve productivity
and enhance communications was always priority number
one. Advances in communication technology lead to the
opportunity for Mr. Oldham to form a company to use
communication technology as a tool to improve
productivity and enhance communications for trucking
companies all over the country. Today, twenty years
later, Tel-IS has clients in all industries utilizing
their solutions, products and services in an effort to
improve productivity and enhance communications.
Mr. Oldham, a graduate of Hardin Simmons
University in Abilene, Texas, has served the Abilene
community over the years in various ways, such as
serving on the Board of Directors of the Abilene
Philharmonic Association during the early eighties and
as its President during the 1985/1986 board year. Les
Oldham's hobbies include golf, hunting, farming and
ranching.
